Guest mhowell Posted March 20, 2008 Posted March 20, 2008 If I set my PDC operations master to point to an external NTP server will all domain controllers automatically sync their time with the PDC operations master? Is this automatic because I have domain controllers that point to time.windows.com and their type is NT5DS. If I just leave those settings in the registry for the other domain controllers will it just ignore them and sync their time with the operations master?
Guest Dave Patrick Posted March 20, 2008 Posted March 20, 2008 Re: setting NTP time source for all domain controllers It should be pretty much automatic once you set the master to advertise itself as a reliable time source. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/816042 -- Regards, Dave Patrick ....Please no email replies - reply in newsgroup.
