At the present time I'm running Windows 2000 server on abc.com domain. I

setup 2003 on a new domain called xyz.com. How can I manually move users

over from abc.com to xyz.com?

Thanks

Use the free Microsoft product ADMT. Search MS for it and directions.

Re: Moving users from 2000 to 2003 server

Thanks Danny,

Now I'm having trouble getting clients to logon to their profiles after

attaching the workstation to the new domain. I've tried using the USMT tool,

however I think I have the correct syntax. This is what I've done.

1. I ran the following scripts

scanstate \\fileserver\migration\mystore /ue:*\* /ui:abc\user1

/i:miguser.xml /i:migapp.xml /o

2. I attached the workstation to the new domian and ran the loadstate script

loadstate \\fileserver\migration\mystore /mu:abc\user1:xyz /i:miguser.xml

/i:migapp.xml

I can't seem to logon to User1 profile.
