leukippos01 Posted April 8, 2010 Posted April 8, 2010 Hello everyone. I've recently bought a new graphics card for my pc. Specifically the NVIDIA GTS 250(GV-N250-1GI/PCI-E 2.0 1GB GDDR3/256 bit). The problem is that during the installation a warning message appears saying that the graphics card doesn't use all of its power and is in safe mode otherwise my system will be at risk. Also says that i need an additional electric connection. The model of the motherboard is : Gigabyte GA-946-S3 - motherboard - ATX - i946GZ. if anyone can help me understand what's the problem i will be glad to know. Quote
Jelly Bean Posted April 8, 2010 Posted April 8, 2010 Replacing a graphics card to a higher specification is not as simple as buying a new card and installing it. You appear now need to buy a upgraded more powerfull power supply with correct connections for the new graphics card. Quote Rwy'n ceisio fy ngorau......................
