I have tried searching the internet, but I can't seem to find the

answer. I have Windows XP. I am using firefox. When I try to search

with something from google it takes me to a 69.50.184.74 address and

nothing comes up. Anyone else heard of this? I have ran Adaware and

Norton antivirus, but I still have the problem.

Go through these general malware removal steps systematically -

http://www.elephantboycomputers.com/page2.html#Removing_Malware

Include scanning with David Lipman's Multi_AV and follow instructions to do

all scans in Safe Mode.

http://www.elephantboycomputers.com/page2.html#Multi-AV - instructions

http://tinyurl.com/yoeru3 - download link and more instructions

You can also check to see if there are targeted removal steps for your

malware here:

Bleeping Computer removal how-to's -

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/forum55.html

When all else fails, run HijackThis and post your log in one of the

specialty forums listed at the first link above (not here, please).

Standard disclaimer: I can't see and test your computer myself, so these are

just suggestions based on many years of being a professional computer tech;

suggestions based on what you've written. You should not take my

suggestions as a definitive diagnosis. If you can't do the work yourself

(and there is no shame in admitting this isn't your cup of tea), take the

machine to a professional computer repair shop (not your local equivalent

of BigComputerStore/GeekSquad). Please be aware that not all local shops

are skilled at removing malware and even if they are, your computer may be

so infested that Windows will need to be clean-installed. If possible, have

all your data backed up before you take the machine into a shop.

Sorry, but since you admit to using Firefox, you're a heretic and not

deserving of help here.

Using Forte Agent over Outlook Express is a FAR cry different from

using Firefox over IE, m'man... or m'lad, whichever applies.

Mike - 69.50.184.74 is one of the IPs used by "Intercage Network Group" -

has reputation for hosting "bad" sites.

Not so. Firefox only gives your cat warts.

Forte is vaguely French-sounding.

I can fix it. Use my Remove-it software I just added several codes to remove

that issue. Email me if it does not work as I have seen several new variants

pop up in the past week. Download it here

Never download claimed support tools/cracks from a site that has a

history of hosting pornographic materials and spreading of hate.

You mean the plagiarized, stolen from from here and there code.

It isn't "your product" and you are a liar. You are Christopher Butts,

you are male and you are a fraud!

MVP Saunders knows all about you.

You can't lie out of this one.
