i have just installed a new motherboard in my computer and when i booted up the hdd the blue screen came up and then let me restart in safe mode, it then installed the new drivers so i re-booted, but no joy blue screen again and only letting me go in safe mode. how do i get to start normally?

Hi,

 

If the motherboard is not exactly the same as the original Windows will recognise the major change of hardware and refuse to boot.

 

The solution is to do a Repair Installation of XP.

 

This will effectively correct the problem and allow you to keep your files / data intact.

 

Do you have the original installation CD ( not recovery disks ) ?

There is an email going around offering processed pork - gelatin - and salt in a can ......this is simply SPAM !!
