I have a problem shutting down a computer, when I goto start/shutdown

nothing happens, I have found a workaround by going to ctrl/alt/delete and

end the task regedit.exe then I am about to shutdown ok, I ran many spyware

and virus scanners and they have come back clean but still have the

regedit.exe running

Re: Shutdown

Figure out what is starting regedit.exe, and stop it. Also I would be

concerned that is not the real regedit.exe! Where is this regedit

located, what properties etc.
