format issue burning audio cd

True for all software apps... select 'audio cd' to burn from (.wav, .mp3), but burns without converting to .aiif (so I can play cd in a boom box). Using TDK CD-R. Burn works for DVD fine. Suggestions?

You may have to convert the audio file first before burning it to CD, there are many freeware programs available that will do that for you, just go to Google and type in "Free Audio File Burner/Converter" and the list is long.

However have a look at this and see if it will do what you want.
