I have a Kingston 2GB pen drive.Until recently it was working fine.Once I

tried to boot from it.After that it is behaving strangely. It gets recognized

and appears in

My Computer also. But when I try to open it it promptes me to insert a disk

in the drive although I have already inserted the drive.Uninstalling and

reinstalling the driver also didn't work. Please tell me what I can do to

solve this.Thanks in advance.

Try formatting if it will allow that. (Right click on icon in My

Computer). I assume you ran some software to make it bootable.

Have you tried to use other pens, to test your drivers? Have you tried

to test this pen on other PCs?

Thanks for your reply.Yes I've tried using other pen drives like Transcend

and they work fine on my PC.I've also tried using this pen drive on another

PC running XP and I got the same error.

In that case, try to format the pen.
