GPT Disk with Dynamic Volume offline after Server 2008 install won

Ik have a 2,6 TB Dynamic basic volume on a GPT Disk. The disks is a raid 6

array on a promise supertrack 8350 controller. I boot from a basic disk.

First I had Server 2003 sp2 with all updates installed and it worked fine. I

installed Server 2008 enterprise (rtm) on the basic disk. The dynamic disk

was offline, when I try to get it back on-line diskmanger just hangs. I tried

Server 2003 R2 and 64 bit R2 again on the basic disk but I stil cannot get

the volume on-line. Any Ideas? It is not a cluster, just a singel machine.
