Hi -- I know this might not be the correct foum, but I was hoping I could

get some help.

 

I need to create an SLA for our server environment primarily for our

internal departments. Basically, we receive frequent requests to build new

servers that may or may not require hardware purchases, software purchases,

etc., in addition to laptop deployments etc. Typically, the turnaround is

weeks to months depending on the nature of the request.

 

To provide a baseline and guidinance to everyone, I wanted to set the

expections so everyone knew that a particular request would take at least x

number of days/weeks/months for turnaround.

 

Most of the requests I get folks expect turnaround in a day or so; which is

totally unrealistic.

 

Not to mention I have more to do than just deploy/patch a new

server/workstation. There are tones of dcoumentation and whatnot that

accompanying any new server/workstation deployment.

 

Any assistances, samples, or on-line resources would be great.

 

This request is more of an internal SLA and a customer SLA for services,

etc.
