System requesting restart on EVERY start

Event viewer displays warning 1517 and warning 1524. I have downloaded

uhpcclean, but this does nost seem to solve the problem. It also does not

appear to run automatically at start up. If I run manually, it just pops up a

DOS window. I have tried system restore, but the problem always comes back.

Can anyone help, please?

I recommend that you post the text that pertains to the warning

messages you quoted. Few respondents would be aware what

they refer to. You should also say what you mean with "If I run

manually". Run what manually? How? And what exactly do you

mean with "DOS window"? DOS is an operating system that

was introduced some 30 years ago. There is no DOS under

Windows XP. Do you perhaps mean a black Command Window?
