Installing XP onto a 64 Bit Turion machine

I've just bought a new ACER Travelmate 5520 that shipped with Vista Home.

Unfortunately, I now can't run my older versions of Photoshop, Nero etc.

Being a Scotsman, I'm loathe to spend out on new applications when my old

ones do everything that I want them to. Question is, can I run my old 32 bit

version of XP pro on this machine and should I have the syetem configured to

dual boot or just wipe vista off and install XP?

Any advice please!

Regards

paul

You would first need to check with Acer as to if they have winxp drivers for

this system.

And if you were a canny Scot' you should have checked first as to whether

your apps & any other periferals would run on Vista :(
