The volume button on the screen continuosly remains in the middle of the screen. If you touch the menu or auto button it will go away, but only for a brief moment. Can someone please advise how I can get it to stay away

Are you sure this is the button for the monitor speakers or is it the computer volume button?

What make and model computer is it connected to and what is the operating system, plus any knowledge you may have of the graphics system please.
