I lost my profile after a Windows Update

Hello,

 

Yesterday, I did a Windows Update on my laptop ASUS A8JA with XP Pro (SP2) -

French version.

So today I don't find any of my two profiles : Robert and Administrator

I get the message :

"Not find any profile corresponding on this environnement. Do you want to

create one?"

The system is requesting me to re-install all my softwares, to re-install

connections on Outlook Express, on Skype...

How can I retreive my profiles ???

Please help!

What updates did you install? Have you tried System Restore?

I installed *every* updates ;-(

How can I perform a System restore?

Start | All Programs | Accessories | System Tools | System Restore

 

Look for a date prior to when your problems began.

Pin it to your Start menu so it's easier to find next time you need

it.
