Monitor flickering problem

hey any 1 there???? could you pls help????????? whenever I open two or three windows or applications, my monitor starts flickering... the problem increases if i keep for antivirus scan.... pls help me out..........

Do you have a separate graphics card? that could be faulty, here are a few suggestions,

If a separate card, is there a chance you can try the card in another but similar computer to see if it does the same thing.

Again needing another computer, can you try the monitor on another machine?

Also can you borrow a monitor and try it, does the borrowed monitor do the same?

 

If you can try those, suggestions it may help in deciding what is at fault.

If no good though, can you rell us what make and model the monitor is, and the make and model of your computer, we may be able to work from that.
