Guest Wowbagger Posted March 24, 2008 Posted March 24, 2008 I have modified the registry as described in kb 310316 by adding following value: HKLMACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer MoveSecurityAttributes : DWORD : 0 But security attributes are still being moved along with the files. How do I correct this issue?

Guest Wowbagger Posted March 24, 2008 Posted March 24, 2008 Re: kb310316 : MoveSecurityAttributes Dword 0 doesn't work Server 2003. I did not add the first key as I do not want to preserve the original permissions.
