Thanks. This car is being closed out for $20 and it specifies Win98SE in it's requirements... http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2984821&CatId=109
Guest Jeff Richards Posted March 24, 2008 Posted March 24, 2008 Re: PCMCIA CF You don't need a driver for the adapter, but you might need a driver for the CF card. If the manufacturer of the CF card doesn't provide a W98 driver, then generic drivers are usually available. -- Jeff Richards MS MVP (Windows - Shell/User) "Davej" <galt_57@hotmail.com> wrote in message news:412e91e1-91cc-442d-b35c-cf8a55e42f80@z38g2000hsc.googlegroups.com... > Let me rephrase my question... does anyone know of a PC Card/PCMCIA CF > card adapter that comes with a Win98se driver? I installed the card again and told Windows to search for a driver and it found a generic driver (MSHDC.INF).
