HP ProLiant Opteron 1210 or Xeon 3040

[Guest Kappa]

I'm stuck between buying HP ProLiant ML 115 Opteron 1210 @ 1.8 GHz and

HP ProLiant ML 110 G4 Xeon 3040 1.86 GHz. All the rest of the specs

are the same. Difference of price is about £10. But according to HP

UK's website Xeon 3040 is discontinued.

 

But my question is which processor is better? I have started MCSE, so

I'll be using it for my home lab/server.

 

PS. I've searched through the forum, only bechmark I found was between

Xeon 5000 vs Opteron 200 series. Here Xeon out performed but not when

it comes to power consumption.
