Please play with this a while and report back whether you found this easy to navigate.

 

I think Silverlight will take off big time in a few years, with the generation that have grown up with mobile phones with similar interfaces. I would hate to be an IT trainer, teaching 50 year old 'Doris' how to use this. I'm not being ageist, but speaking from experience, this is not a pleasant UI to teach..."click on this, then wait till it's finished spinning, then go there. If you want to go to [menu option] then you click that to spin that way"

 

I cannot imagine anything but an upmarket business wanting an application that navigates the way this does. As an Employer, you'd think HUGE training costs because differentiated UI is just that, different, so it takes that much longer to learn.

 

I wish I'd grown up with stuff like this though. Completely envious of anyone under 20.
