Guest Dragon Posted March 25, 2008 Posted March 25, 2008 Could someone please recommend a SysLog Server application? We are in need of capturing logs from Cisco PiX firewall and a few other Windows Hosts for Auditing purposes (no daily monitoring). I understand there are some good freeware Linux based solutions but I am looking for a decent Windows based solution. Even if it is not free (inexpensive is good). Thank you.

We've been using WinSyslog for quite a while now. Pretty easy to deploy and fulfilled all requirements that _we_ had: http://www.winsyslog.com/en/Product/ cheers, Florian -- Microsoft MVP - Windows Server - Group Policy. eMail: prename [at] frickelsoft [dot] net. blog: http://www.frickelsoft.net/blog. Guest Dragon Posted March 26, 2008 Posted March 26, 2008 Re: SysLog Server Thank you Florian, Do you know if it can forward Windows Events from the servers to the syslog repository? Thanks.
