IPP vs smb print server

Hi,

 

We are thinking using IPP as the primary printing protocol for our print

server. Can anyone advice if there is any disadvantage compare with

traditional smb printer server, e.g. administration and management?

I would stick with IPP as it's pretty foolproof.
