TechAdvance Posted October 8, 2007 Posted October 8, 2007 and you have the necessary drivers for this card? Quote GOOGLE IS YOUR FRIEND www.thetechevolution.co.uk <<<<SUGGESTIONS PLEASE
danzil Posted October 9, 2007 Posted October 9, 2007 can you boot into safe mode, can you see post (power on self test).or the xp logo.. if so keep tapping f8, then choose safe mode... does the pc work fine in safe mode...if so a driver is most likely at fault, how hot does the card get regards danzil Quote Windows 10 Pro x64Aqua Jeantech Gaming case550watt psu.MSI Gaming Board32GB DDR3 Corsair gaming RamGenuine Intel i7 3.2Ghz4 x 24x dvdrw 150GB SSD750GB Hybrid Drive256 RAID PCI/E SSD for OSand loads of other bits i really dont need :D
hardware_dave Posted October 20, 2007 Posted October 20, 2007 danzil is correct, pluging in a card should disable the onboard no need to do anything. Does the card need extra power from the PSU ? check for a connector on the graphics card. What size is your psu ? can it handle this card ? There may be a bios setting to change which card is initalized first onboard/agp or onboard/peg. Dave Quote Never ascribe to malice that which can be adequately explained by stupidity
