Why is there almost no discussion about fax software?

I just wonder that, why is there almost no discussion about fax software in the computer or technology forum. I found joyfax server in some download site. Does people not care the fax software at all?? Sometimes, I want to know whether there is some good function of the fax software, such as "fax to email" or else.. But I can't find anyone talk about it in the computer related forums.

Do you guys know, what kind of forums may have discussion about fax software?

I work in the printing industry and while there are many companies that use scan to email/scan to fax most people stick to email.

most MFDs and MFPs if thats what yoyu are using have built in software for such applications

Joyfax Server is quite good for my business. It is not free but it offers a 15-day demo version.

Just to add, FAX is mainly a business user thing, not many people use FAX for personal uses when E Mail does the job.

Generally speaking FAX was developed as a means of sending printed documents over the ordinary telephone network, prior to the personal computer boom and broadband, so virtually no use for FAX for personal stuff these days. It is old technology now when all is said and done.
