Phillip Posted May 18, 2010 Posted May 18, 2010 Hi guys & guyetts ;-) I have an Acer Extensa 4620Z Laptop running Vista and I have been trying to update the driver for the HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-T20N ATA Device and it keeps telling me that the device is already up to date even though the yellow sign is still showing and I'm unable to see and/or access the DVD drive. I have checked this problem on many forums and no 1 seems to have the answer. I have tried this thread: http://extremetechsupport.com/forum/dvd-cd-rom-drives-and-printer-scanner-issues/5424-hl-dt-st-dvdram-gsa-t20n-ata-device-doesnt-work.html & also this thread: http://extremetechsupport.com/forum/dvd-cd-rom-drives-and-printer-scanner-issues/4869-hl-dt-st-dvdram-gsa-t20n-ata-device-driver-needed.html and still couldn't get it to work. The drive is operating because I can hear it working and I did a lens reset test and it did reset. If you can help me it would be greatly appreciated. Quote
