taking back to factory settings

could someone please help me i need know if and allso how can i take windows vista back to factory settings on my high-grade laptop without vista disk i am not worried about what programs i lose

generally it will be that you need to access the recovery partition by pressing ether f1,f8,f10 key at the manufacturers splash screen or just after during boot, and then selecting the appropriate option from the recovery console.
