wont open link in a new tab

recently my safari wont open links in a new tab. when i right click there is no option for it and i am forced to do it by apple-shift-click way

 

this only just started happening after i installed a paint program that put a stupid tool bar on safari

Try going down the list.

 

1. Uninstall the toolbar.

2. Uninstall the paint program.

3. Reinstall safari.

I always prefer the command key and click for new tabs, but maybe you have an outdated version, or you can change your preferences.

you should download firefox. I found it far better than safari - it's much quicker and more stable in my opinion. :)
