Credit Card swipe reader with TS2008

Hi,

my USB credit card reader appears as an Human Interface Device in a vista/xp

pc when attached.

Is there a way to redirect this device for use in TS session?

AFAIK USB support for what you are looking for (Card reader) is not

there. They need to be serial.

Need be, but they are not. There are serial IF version of reader too, but we

have USB, and it is hard-coded in our own developed business app. I'm

currently convicing our developers rewrite app to use serial port, which is

easyly redirected to TS session.

I found a device driver on manufacturer's site which converts the USB HID

Swipe Reader communication into a virtual COM port device.

While no other recommendation from the manufacturer support I'll walk this

way.
