I checked with the offical Panasonic site and it seems there isn't a driver version available for Windows 7. However, that doesn't mean that we can't get it to work. I have an idea that might just get it to work on your laptop.

• Download the Panasonic VDR-D200 driver from here.
  
• Save the file to your Desktop.
  
• After the download has completed, right-click on the setup file and click Properties.
  
• Click on the Compatibility tab.
  
• Under Compatibility mode, check the box that says Run this program in compatibility mode for: and select Windows Vista from the dropdown menu.

• Click on Apply and then OK.
  
• Double-click on the setup file and install the program.
