kernel Posted January 9, 2014 Posted January 9, 2014 Sometimes the wireless card is not automatically enabled. So to enable via the terminal type: sudo '/sbin/service NetworkManager start Then type in (without the pound sign) #iwconfig and then , whats below. However if iwconfig would return wlan1 replace the 1 with the 0 below. #sudo ifconfig wlan0 up If you are displayed a prompt to enter your password do so. Quote
KenB Posted January 9, 2014 Posted January 9, 2014 Hi kernel and welcome to Fpch Thanks for contributing. Could I ask you to look at the date of the thread before posting please? ( I don't want you to waste your time ) The last post here was June 2010 - I doubt that Armageddon is still looking for a fix for this one :) Quote There is an email going around offering processed pork - gelatin - and salt in a can ......this is simply SPAM !!
