NEED HELP uninstalling SP2 on SBS 2003

Hi,

I'm having issues trying to uninstall SP2 on my SBS 2003 box. Reason why I'm

trying to uninstall is because ever since I installed SP2, my companyweb is

no longer viewable using RWW. At first, I thought something was wrong with

the companyweb. I've tried uninstalling it and reinstalling with no luck

getting it back on line. Then I found a post saying that SP2 has had some

issues with companyweb and RWW. The person uninstalled SP2 and bingo, he was

able to access companyweb via RWW. When I try and uninstall SP2 it hangs up

in the "restoring catalogs" then I get an error message. "The system cannot

find the file specified" - "The service pack 2 was not uninstalled". Here is

the event log

Event Type: Error

Event Source: NtServicePack

Event Category: None

Event ID: 4375

Date: 4/1/2008

Time: 9:17:54 AM

User: server1\administrator

Computer: server1

Description:

Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 2 uninstall failed.

The system cannot find the file specified.

For more information, see Help and Support Center at

http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.

Please, any help on this matther would be great. I really need to get

companyweb up and running again via RWW. Heck, for that matter just up and

running.

Thanks for your help,

Bryan

Better off just fixing the SP2 issues. They're pretty well know by now.

Re: NEED HELP uninstalling SP2 on SBS 2003

I think you could cause more issues trying to uninstall it, but that's just

my opinion. I'd agree and say that fixing the SP2 issue would be the best

choice.

Have you re-run the CEICW wizard after the SP2 install?
