I want to monitor the performance of another computer.

When I add Snap-Ins in MMC,

I can find "Computer Management", "Remote desktops",etc.

but I can't find an Item named "Performance".

iS it possible to use Performance monitor to watch another computer's

performance.

If yes, how to do it?

please help me. thank you very much.

You can add new 'Counter Logs' by expanding 'Performance Logs and Alerts',

creating right-clicking 'Counter Logs', selecting 'New Log Settings', then

'Add Objects' for the computer you're interested in. It's much the same for

'Alerts', but 'Trace Logs' only seem to be enabled for the local computer.

As an admin from the command prompt key in perfmon

Select Counter Logs from the Performance Logs and Alerts

Right click on the Counters logs and select New Log Settings

Enter a trace name

Select add counters

Select counters from computer...

You are now looking at a remote computer
