In windows 2003 there was possibility to have two instaces of terminal

serfver connection plus console.

How is in Windows 2008? I can connect only with one remote desktop.

Hello MarcusB,

You have only 2 parallel connections in 2008. See also:

It will be nice to have two. So far I have only one. If I try to connect

from the second remote desktop the first is disconected.

It is standalone server and group policy is not activated.

Hello MarcusB,

With 2 parallel meant is one remote and one console as stated in the article.

Re: Windows 2008 - Terminal Server

As I told it will be nice if it is two. When I connect to server with

remote desktop than I connect to the same desktop which I left on the

console. Like before in Win 2003 you was using mstsc with "/console"

switch. It is something wrong.
