I recently purchased a refurbished Dell D800 online. I began having problems with the screen turning snowy, causing the unit to reboot. I sent it back to the seller, who sent me a replacement unit. This same unit had old drivers that had to be updated, but now I'm having the exact same problem. I'm hoping that this is a software issue, or a problem with settings. I did notice that display setting said something about "multiple monitors." Has anyone had this problem before? Please tell me this is an easy fix.

Hi and welcome to Extreme Tech Support - Free PC Help Werewolf.

When you say a replacement unit, do you mean a replacement monitor or replacement computer?

If it was the monitor that was replaced and is still showing the fault it must be within the computers graphics, either the on board or if fitted, a card. Considering it is still well within any guarantee period I would send the computer back rather than trying to fix the graphics, especially if it is on board and a possible hardware fault.

Nev.
