Limit Desktop Interface

I've just installed TS on a new Windows 2003 R2 Standard X64 server and all

is running pretty well. I've installed the necessary applications that my

remote users will need. I'd now like to lock down the desktop and pretty

much just limit the users to open the 3 icons that I've placed on their

desktops. I'd like to remove the Start Menu, Run and pretty much everything

if this is possible.

Saying this, what's the best way? I'll only have about 10 connected users

and roaming policies/document redirection is not necessary. The three

programs that I have are all SQL-based applications and they only need the

three icons that I've given them. They will not need to save anything

locally or elsewhere while connected to my TS.

Thanks for any advice.

Re: Limit Desktop Interface

This is easiest done with a Group Policy which configures a

redirected custom Start Menu and Desktop, which you make read-only.
