Print Migrator and old printer share name

We used the Microsoft Print Migrator to migrate the printer devices from

Windows 2000 to 2003. However, we want to use the old server name

\\printserver1. We changed DNS to the same IP as \\printserver2..but when we

try to go to the UNC path of \\printserver1 to see the print shares..we get

"\\printserver1 is not accessible. you might not have permission to use this

network resource. logon failure: the target account name is incorrect". When

I look at my printer setup (XP SP2)..I see 'access is denied'. What have

others done in this case to transfer the printer devices to a new server, but

keep the old print server name. We may be better off just renaming the new

server to the same as the old one (take the old one off the network first).
