Hello

 

I have bought a new laptop and i now want to restore my old one to factory settings to give to a family member, however i need to copy all my folders and my emails contacts and inbox etc etc from microsoft outlook the transfer them all to my new laptop when i boot up micorsoft outlook.

 

im quite a novice at this and im asking if you could tell me how to do it in the most basic terms

(i run XP and my micorsoft outlook is 2003 on windows office professional 2003)

Hi.

Take a look at this article. Back up Outlook e-mail messages - Outlook - Microsoft Office Click on the +Back up messages to a.pst file for detailed instructions.
