Hi Folks,

I have a server with two network cards.

I need to configure the network cards in order to have backup network

card.

To explain more what i need is to know if there is something i can do

to make the two network cards have the same IP but one of them is

working and in case the switch related to the first network card go

down automatically the second4 network card placed on another switch

will work.

It's like Load balancing the two network card but and not two servers.

Can this be done, if no is there something i could for that?

thanks in advance.

Hello mauriceabousaad@yahoo.fr,

Check out the vendors website for teaming software. HP has it for all servers.

Best regards
