RDP through VPN fast, RDP to public IP freezes

My company houses a few servers and also leases a few at rackspace in texas.

We have a site to site vpn connecting out office and our rackspace servers.

While internal, users that attempt to RDP to the public ip of (1) server, not

the others, their session locks up. If they close the session and re-connect

then all is well. I have them connecting through the vpn to that server now

and it runs just fine. I need to resolve this soon to reduce the load on the

VPN.

Looks like MTU issue.

Set maximum MTU value on firewall, check if it works.
