Thanks to all, I had a great day, and got my birthday present, a nice new quad cored Packard Bell, 'tis only a small machine but should cope better with the home video and editing. Otherwise, spent most of the day out and about and had a good time doing it, thanks once again.

BLTN Maynard and thanks. As I said I now have a new machine with W7 Pro 64 BIT on it, set up seems to have gone OK, Firefox runs, Just the rather daunting task of finding security software that will run on a 64 BIT system. Not a lot of firewalls do that.

Thanks I might have to resort to that, there seems no good free ones, even comodo gives problems for too many I have seen.
