Terminal Server Capacity

I'm hoping to handle 12 mostly light-duty Access 2007 users (a single 25

table database) and two Word 2007 users on a Terminal Server with an Intel

Quad Core Xeon E5335 2.0GHz 1333 with 4 Gigs of RAM over a cable based VPN.

Nothing else will be running on the Terminal Server.

Is this reasonable or am I off base here?

Thanks.

RE: Terminal Server Capacity

I'm not sure if it matters but it's TS 2003.

My experience of Access used on a TS box is that the problems lie with

how it locks the database rather than the power of the TS server.

However, I have no experience of Access 2007 (only up to 2003).

I would hazard a guess that the actual load will be supportable on that

hardware but would be planning to make sure that upgrades are possible

(e.g. a second processor).

Although common it frequently goes undiagnosed.
