Hi Vincent.

It seems like something is trying to load when Windows starts normally but it can't. Since safemode just loads the basics it might be something like drivers. Try disconnecting any external devices. Next start in safemode and look in Device Manager to see if anything is flagged.

Since it will start in safemode you might want to try doing a System Restore to before this happened. Keep in mind that when doing a System restore in safemode it can't be undone like it can in normal mode.

I would also try and remember what the last thing you did on the PC before this happened - any new drivers? changed any settings? installed/removed any hardware/software.

if you can get into safe mode then open command prompt and type msconfig this will give you what loads up on the (startup tab furthest right) you can tick/untick, if there is anything you are unsure of then let us know and we can help
