3d in windows 7?

- control panel / System:*shows the circular icons...rotating / zooming in out

 

- some type of 3d desktop? (option)

 

 

..apart from the control panel thing (that id seen demoed in* longhorn promos) not sure what else would work 3d...

 

what do you think could be 3d in win7?

 

*some stuff to make use of WPF / silverlight..*might be good?

 

Q:could icons be animated? too much over head? .... so they would look like normal icons - but if you moused over - or double clicked - they did things...etc?
