If you are using it for 'academic' purposes you should be able to get it through College/Uni for free, or you used to be able to :confused:

OUTLOOK 2010 academic is what i was looking for not office , and already have outlook 2007 academic which is fantastic especially compared to crappy windows live mail !! :mad:

 

OL 2007 academic was around £35 ( sensible kinda price for home use ;)) where as normal OL was £85 ish.

 

Wondering if academic versions get released later than the standard.

You can buy Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010 for £38.95 from the link I posted above.

Why would you try to buy Outlook on its own when you can get the whole lot for that kind of money?

Yeah, I have once, I bought Office 2007 Professional Plus in April this year. The install CD has Academic Version written on it, and the product key stuck on the back of the CD holder. Its all legit and genuine Microsoft.

 

I wondered if it would activate differently, and add some kind of message to all of the programs but it doesn't, it works just fine.

Did a bit of lookin around and seem genuine enough :)

 

Will probably give them ago sometime soon.

 

Do their prices jump up and down much??

 

Like the look of Win7 pro upgrade too for £39 :eek:

 

Just not sure if I can upgrade from Vista Home Premium 32 bit to Win7 Pro 32bit directly??

Kev I used software for students for my Office 2010 pro just a smidge over 40 quid for a direct download and ya allowed on 2 machines absolute bargain Edited August 12, 2010 by Armageddon

Cool good to hear , might give Win7 Upgrade a go 1st from S4S when the nights start gettin a bit darker :)
