I was requested to provide the volume number of my server, but i don't

remember what command i need to type to find it.

is the volume number command the same as diskpart? thank you for your help!

The command mountvol.exe returns the partition

volume names but this may not be what you're

after. You should quote the context within which

this request whas made.

I think what they wanted is the volume serial number. I got that number by

just typing 'vol' in a command line. I might need the volume names as well,

so I can use your answer too. Thanks
