Usually the drivers are installed by the operating system and the manufacturers dont have drivers for download

Try the firmware update.

 

other options are: go to start - control panel - system - hardware tab - device manager - look for your cd/dvd drive there right click it and select properties - go to the driver tab - try clicking update driver

 

try uninstalling the driver and then reinstall using the same method above

 

You could also try disabling it then re-enabling it this you could say is a type of refresh

thanks for help slightly better starts to burn then nero aborts saying "could not pewrform end track"

cd burner xp pro3 also has the same problem starts but cant compleat

what speed are you burning on, have you tried different media.
