Recommended Posts

Hi,

I have physical server which runs MOSS 2007, Project Server 2007 and SQL

Server 2005 I would like to migrate everything to Microsoft Server 2008

Hyper-V machine. Is this possible and is there any documentation

regarding to it?

Thanks for any info.

Hyper-V is still in beta, so the documentation is pretty scarce,

especially on migration.

I have done this many times with workstation OS installations using Acronis

TrueImage Workstation with the Universal Restore addon, to make VirtualPC

virtual machines.

The server version costs a lot more though, but it works in the same way,

although I have no experience with Hyper-V yet.
