Guest KayP Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 Quick question for you. I am setting up a simple file server configured with WORKGROUP. I do not see client machines appear as computer object types like you see in AD setup. Do computer object types exist in WORKGROUP config? I was hoping to set permissions to share on server based on the client machine object and not necessarily on user level. This is because I have a service running on client machine that will be accessing the share. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
