Hi,

I don't know if I'm posting this in the right place but here goes.

I have several video clips that were taken by my son with his mobile phone a few years ago. They have sentimental value and I would really like to be able to watch them. I've managed to move them from PC to PC but I'm now unable to play them. I realise I probably need to download some software to do this but I would appreciate some guidance on this.

I hope somebody can help. :confused2:

Another good converting program that I found recently that can convert almost anything to a usable file such as WMV or similar. The program is called "Any Video Converter" and if memory is correct it came from another member. It is free and can be downloaded from here-

Free Video Converter - Any Video Converter Free Version - convert video to any formats, avi to MPEG, avi to MP4, flv to MPG

best of luck and hope you can enjoy those video's soon.

Thanks to you both. I downloaded VLC and it "did what it said on the tin".

I found out later that my daughter had already figured this one out - just didn't think to tell poor old Mum.
