Explorer 8 in Vista

I have Windows explorer 8 loaded on my Laptop, when I try to open it up it takes ages for google to appear (so slow) I downloaded Opera and that opens almost immiediatly, why is google so slow opening? can I do anything in I8. any comments please

I think you mean Internet Explorer 8.

 

It could be malware that targets Internet Explorer. It could also be the settings or add-ons like tool bars. You could try resetting IE8. Take a look at this article. How to Reset or Restore Advanced Settings in Internet Explorer 7 It's the same thing for IE8.

have you tried clearing all the cookies and s*** that its collects when you are browzing the internet

 

step 1

 

Download and install CCleaner - Download

 

run it and make sure your internet explorer in in teh tick boxes

 

restart interent explore and see if that helps

 

if not disable any add-ons you use ie search bars

Thank you both for the information, I will try both options, but I have cleared off all Junk etc, I cannot understand why Opera work so well and google Not!
