Great read for those of you interested in the search for intelligent life in the universe.

An interesting new mathematical predictive model conceived by Andrew Watson implicitly assumes that intelligent life needs*to exist on an Earth-like planet that orbits a*G class yellow star (that produces more heat and light as it ages)*to exist. Remove this assumption (certainly, intelligence in the*universe need not be uniform)*from his new model (which appears to rely too heavily on*the Daisy World*model)*and the model falls down.

What do you think?
